Winter 2008: Issue 1 of Laser and Sword

Issue 1 of Laser and Sword Is Out in its E-edition. Once we receive our final version of the cover art from  our fabulous illustrator, Melinda Reynolds, a print edition will be available as well.

In this month’s issue:

  • Earth’s greatest hero, The Sword, seeks to unite all of Earth’s heroes, but will personal rivalries break the Guild of Heroes apart before its first mission? And can the Sword’s chief ally be trusted?
  • A hard luck gang leader from Boise, Idaho gets a second chance in the Imperial Military. Will he thrive in the military or find himself in a hangman’s noose?

Laser and Sword Magazine revives the lost art of serial short fiction with exciting results!

  1. I wish I had the time to get into a serial now, but Cyn’s got me doing freelance articles –building a portfolio to help get me out of the factory.
How bout a call this weekend to discuss L&S marketing?
    What time would be good?

  2. I took a break from my schedule to read “The Devils Fool” yesterday. What a fun story! at least I hope it was intended to be fun because I was certainly entertained. I enjoyed the conflict amongst the heroes as they recognized each other and gaffawed at Defendent’s embarrassment over his messy garage. And here I thought superheroes were supposed to be perfect in every way! Am looking forward to the next installment.

By the way, how exactly does one subscribe?

  3. Frank, great conversation, you scared the heck out of me.

Cyn, yes, it was supposed to be fun. Not in a Tales of the Dim Knight way, but in a real human fun way.
