This episode from the Adventures of Superman: (1950s series starring George Reeves) was a classic. Superman’s costume is stolen and two crooks want to blackmail him with their knowledge of his secret identity. Clark Kent calls in a Private Investigator friend and the story goes from there.

Like nearly every 1950s Superman villain, this hapless couple was hopelessly outmatched against the Man of Steel. But the chase as well as the Clark Kent’s friendly private investigator make this a worthy watch.
