When the Punya tribe needs money to obtain medicines and other supplies, Tarzan agrees to help two outsiders prospect for gold on their land in exchange for fairly compensating the tribe. But one of the newcomers is secretly seeking revenge against Tarzan, while the discovery of a different kind of underground wealth threatens to turn their seemingly honest arrangement into something far more dangerous.
